Dr. Stephen Bell is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving clients in Arkansas and Missouri. He earned his doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Louisiana at Monroe, after completing both his Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and Bachelor of Arts in Professional Sales at Harding University.

With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Bell has worked extensively with marriages, families, and family-owned businesses across a variety of professional settings. Alongside his wife, Tracy, he co-founded Family Fanatics, LLC while living in Missouri. Through Family Fanatics, they focus on strengthening marriages and families through speaking engagements and therapeutic intensives. For 13 years, Dr. and Tracy Bell also served as speakers and marriage intensive therapists with Focus on the Family’s Marriage Institute and the National Institute of Marriage.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Bell serves in higher education alongside his wife as professors at Ouachita Baptist University. Prior to joining OBU, the Bells designed and launched academic degree programs at two universities, including the Family Studies and Social Services degree at College of the Ozarks and the Child and Family Studies degree at Williams Baptist University. In 2014, Dr. Bell received national recognition through NerdScholar’s “40 Under 40 Professors Who Inspire” award for his impact in the classroom.

Dr. Bell considers his greatest accomplishment to be his marriage of more than 20 years to Tracy and their four children: Lillie, Ruthie, Hudson, and Addie. Outside of work, the Bell family can often be found traveling across the state and country supporting their children in softball and baseball tournaments. Lillie is a freshman on the Ouachita Baptist University softball team, while Ruthie is committed to join the program next year. Hudson and Addie, both students at Bismarck School District, enjoy nearly every sport they can play. Dr. Bell is also deeply involved in youth athletics and has coached travel fast pitch softball for 12 years.
