Licensed Associate Counselor

Angie Nix

Licensed Associate Counselor

Angie graduated from Harding University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Bible before spending several years at home raising her large family with her husband, Shane.

She earned three Master’s degrees from the University of Central Arkansas and spent fourteen years in education, including ten years as a school counselor, working with students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. During that time, the moments that meant the most to her were the opportunities to sit with students in their struggles, build meaningful connections, and help them navigate a wide variety of challenges. Those moments confirmed what had always been in her heart, which is helping others through difficult times.

After her youngest son graduated from high school, she felt the call to fully pursue her love of counseling. She received her Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) credential and feels grateful for the opportunity to continue walking alongside others as they navigate life’s challenges.

She believes the therapeutic relationship is crucial and one of the most important parts of the counseling process. She wants her clients to feel safe, accepted, heard, and genuinely cared for. Her desire is to provide a compassionate and supportive space where people feel comfortable being themselves and know they do not have to face life’s struggles alone.

To ensure therapy fits seamlessly into your busy life, Angie offers flexible appointment times, including select weekday evenings and occasional Saturdays.
